“Every year the women of New York leave the past behind and look forward to the future...This is known as Fashion Week.” - Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City.
We can’t believe it’s already September and that the leaves are slowly turning to shades of brown, yellow, and orange. But as we are leaving the heatwave of summer and heading into shades of burgundy, suede, and shearling, we are of course looking forward to fashion month for spring 2019. With the massive magazine September issues and the return of sky high boots and cozy sweaters, there is inspiration to be found everywhere!
With the sweltering heat NYC has experienced this summer it was easy to imagine yourself wearing some of the hot spring trends that debuted during Fashion Week. The colorful and vibrant runways certainly cheered up the rainy cloudy week it was in NYC. Today we’ll be sharing some of our favorite trends that we spotted on the runway at New York Fashion Week.

Peachy Keen

Nothing may rhyme with orange, but plenty of colors look fabulous with it.

1980’s Neon

Neon colors like you’re living inside an 1980’s video game. You’ll spring into the season with bold and bright colors in shades of hot pink, lime green, and highlighter yellow.

Stay Gold

Gen Z yellow seems to be sticking around for next spring in warm shades of goldenrod, mustard, and butterscotch.
